Fan-tastic...

So the Geeky Spouse and I are trying our very first solo home improvement project.

Installing ceiling fans....

I have a twich under one eye and have been throwing our pathetic assortment of tools around the guest room (our test hole if you will). I've sent him to his mothers house for a crescent wrench, because trying to attach bolts with channel locks from a garage sale doesnt work (they no longer lock!). Not to mention that screwdrivers in this house are at a premium, we probably have a dozen of each, but can we find them??? Noooo because they fall into the screwdriver/lost sock black hole. I need to put tracking devices on them, just to save my sanity.

The wiring in this house is like something out of an electricians nightmare, and almost nothing in our lightbox is labeled properly. Turning off bedroom 2 also knocks out the hallway in the foyer of the house...turning off bedroom 3 takes out the master and upstairs bathrooms...

I need a hug...

Stud is whining...

The last time I saw StudMuffin, he was whining about my lack of updates...so here's to delayed gratification :)

Most of you who read this know of my fun and exciting new drug induced niceness. It's actually kinda cool to feel like "me" again and not some raving banshee intent on firing missiles.

What you probably don't know is that I now have a "regime". The Geeky Spouse and I are trying for version 2.0, (and no we aren't really going to name the kid that, though we laughed about it for a bit.) *I have new medicine to augment my happy pills, that I take for 10 days, then when Aunt Flo visits, I have some more pills to take on different days, then I get to tinkle on a stick looking for the magic moment, and then a few days after that do a donation to dracula to see if everything happened that was supposed to happen...then I can find out if 2.0 is in the works. Depending on what did or didn't happen, well that either I do it all again or we start getting into specialists and injections and lots of other not covered by insurance, time to mortgage the house stuff. Don't think we are going to go that far.*
